6TH MARCH AT 18:00 – CANVAS LOFT BAR, BOURNEMOUTH

We meet every quarter to share knowledge, learn from each other, and share stories over a beer or two. Each event consists of three experienced UX professionals speaking for around 25 minutes, plus a few minutes for questions. Before and after the speakers there’s time to mingle at the bar with snacks for everyone. We’d love to see you at the next UX Bournemouth event on 6th March!

    FAQs

    Who runs UX Bournemouth?

UX Bournemouth is held by Experience UX. Established in 2007 by Ali Carmichael and Damian Rees, on the belief that companies should be doing more to understand what their users need before designing digital products and services.

    Will there be food available?

A buffet of lovely food from the guys at Lunch’d will be available on the night and this is included in the price of your ticket. We will make sure vegetarians are catered for too.

Is there parking at the venue?

Unfortunately, the venue itself doesn’t offer any parking. There is however free parking in the area. In the lead up to the event, we will send out a map to show the best (and free) places to park.

    Who is the event for?

You don’t need to be working in a UX role to come along. If you have an interest in learning more about it, and are looking for a fun filled evening, we’d love you to see you there.

With Winter fast approaching it was time for the fourth UX Bournemouth –attracting an array of UXers and digital professionals from our local area and further afield. We had another stellar line-up of speakers, with talks from Alan Colville, Adam Babajee-Pycroft and Ulrich Boulon. They took us on a journey of ever improving your processes; whether it be running remote usability testing, remembering to test the desktop version of your chatbot, or always striving to ‘take it up a notch’ with everything you do.

    July 2017

The summer is here and that meant it was time for our third UX Bournemouth – a sell-out event that’s attracting UXers and other professionals not only from our local area, but far-flung places such as Milton Keynes. We had another stellar lineup of speakers, kicked off by a bonus presentation from our very own Damian Rees who took a look at the last decade of UX and digital to mark our 10th birthday as a business.
